Reliably carry out and document production checks

Easy production-accompanying supervision

The EMC Control module of the MES Software EMC continuously monitors current production. When a predefined event is reached, such as an inspection interval being exceeded or a fault being triggered, a message is automatically displayed on the machine terminal, prompting the worker to carry out production checks or inspections. Similar to a checklist, the processes are supplemented by clearly scheduled checks, thus significantly increasing the quality of production.

Carry out production checks now

The EMC Control module allows predefined checks or production checks to be carried out, documented and evaluated easily and reliably, e.g. during shift changes.

If the time for an inspection defined in advance in the inspection plan in EMC Data is reached, the worker is alerted to take action by clear notifications on the terminal, e.g. “Inspection necessary / order quantity already reached”.

Receive notifications to run production checks
Automatically display control messages

When production checks defined in the inspection plan are triggered automatically due to shift changes, reaching the inspection frequency (fixed number of pieces or number of pieces from a calculation of the target output and x minutes) or interruptions with the “Inspection necessary” property active, production-related prompts/monitoring are displayed as messages on the terminal.

Tapping on the message takes you to the check for the machine concerned in order to carry out the check. For machine terminals with several machines, you are forwarded directly to the correct page/machine when you select the button in the message.

Transmit info signal to the machine

If production checks are still outstanding, information can be sent to the machine that it cannot be restarted until the check has been carried out and confirmed via the OK check.

When using production traffic lights, for example, an info signal can be used to set the traffic light to red as long as the check has not yet been carried out. This allows you to see directly which machine still needs to be checked.

Define notifications and messages

In addition to standard messages such as “Order quantity reached” or “Overproduction (after 10% surplus)”, individual, customer-specific notifications can be defined on request, which are not part of the inspection plan. This means that a message is also generated when an event occurs and displayed on the machine terminal. Unlike predefined test plans, these pure messages are not saved in the database.
