To realize the full potential of an MES solution, it’s crucial that employees feel comfortable and confident using it on a daily basis. We therefore spent the past two days on-site at thema Form- & Federntechnologie GmbH & Co. KG in Finnentrop to train the team on how to use our MES Software EMC.
From Machine Operators to Production Managers: Practical Knowledge for Everyday Work
On-site training is a key component of our service commitment. It is important to us that everyone in the company receives exactly the knowledge they need for their daily work:
- Simple data entry at the machine: For machine operators, the focus was on intuitive and hassle-free data entry directly in their day-to-day operations. The simpler the data entry, the more reliable the database.
- Deeper insights for management: Production managers gained more in-depth insights into EMC’s comprehensive evaluation and analysis modules so they can control and optimize manufacturing processes even more effectively in the future.
Through direct on-site interaction, individual questions were answered immediately, and functions were practiced using real-world workflows right at the production line.
Process Analysis and a Look into the Future of Digitalization
Beyond basic operator training, we also make full use of our on-site visit to provide comprehensive consulting services. By jointly reviewing manufacturing workflows, we identify processes with potential for optimization and analyze how existing interfaces can be utilized even more efficiently. At the same time, we highlight which further steps toward digitalization, such as through additional modules or expanded automation, will be possible in the future to ensure the customer’s long-term sustainability.
