Digital Tool Maintenance with Mobile Tablets
At the center of the rollout is the digital maintenance module, with a dedicated focus on tool management. Because high-precision tools are the core of manufacturing at Windisch, EMC provides transparent tracking of all tooling data, tool life, and maintenance intervals.
A standout highlight: The maintenance process is now completely paperless, running on mobile tablets directly at the workstation. Damages, wear, and performed maintenance or repair work can easily be captured via photo and documented in the system within seconds. This eliminates transit time, establishes a seamless audit trail, and ensures maximum machine availability.
