How do manufacturing processes work in detail, where do challenges arise in day-to-day production, and how can our MES Software EMC, make these processes even more efficient? To gain a better understanding of exactly that, our team visited our long-standing customer, Vogt Umformtechnik GmbH in Reutlingen, in early August.
Understanding Processes, Optimizing Software
For us, one thing is certain: Outstanding software isn’t just created at a desk, but through direct interaction with the people who work with it every day. The visit to Vogt offered our colleagues a valuable opportunity to experience the manufacturing process up close. These first-hand insights help us gain an even deeper understanding of real-world requirements and further develop our MES Software EMC in a targeted manner to optimally support and further optimize production processes, machine data acquisition, and process control.
Tradition Meets High Technology
Vogt Umformtechnik GmbH, headquartered in Reutlingen, looks back on an impressive corporate history whose roots date back to 1869. With over 150 years of experience and expertise, this long-established company develops and manufactures extremely robust and flexible precision components as well as customized system solutions. Its range of services extends from modern stamping and bending technology, through assembly and overmolding of components, to specialized processes in heat treatment. The high-quality components manufactured in this way are used worldwide in demanding industries such as the automotive and e-mobility sectors, aviation, the electrical and home appliance industries, and the construction sector.

Strong Partnerships & a Very Special Connection
As a software partner, we have placed great importance on close, trusting relationships with our customers for many years. However, the visit to Vogt was also special to us for a very personal reason: The father of our software developer, Murat Tekin, works at Vogt Umformtechnik himself. Such long-standing connections beautifully illustrate just how deeply rooted and personal our collaboration can become over the years—and how the circles between practical manufacturing and our software development come full circle.
A heartfelt thank you
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire team at Vogt Umformtechnik GmbH for their warm welcome, the fascinating insights into their production processes, and the excellent collaboration we’ve come to expect. We look forward to continuing to drive our joint processes forward in the future with our MES Software EMC!
