Digital maintenance
for machines and tools
Complete, digital documentation of maintenance and repairs
With the EMC Maintenance module, you can cleanly clock in maintenance, repairs and servicing, including all components and spare parts used, both manually and according to individually predefined maintenance cycles. This enables high technical availability of machines and tools as well as peripherals.
Maintenance for machines and tools
The documentation of maintenance and repairs: Complete and comprehensive
In the digital lifecycle card of the MES Software EMC, all performed maintenance work as well as repairs are documented. The current condition, availability and history of the tools are also stored in the digital tool history card.
Thus, the entire lifetime of the machine or tool is documented in the history. Further information such as article and order are linked. Installed spare parts and their number can be traced exactly.
The workflow for digital maintenance management
Start maintenance
Either manually via the MES Software EMC portal or by scanning a QR code attached to the machine or tool.

Perform maintenance
Perform maintenance in accordance with the specified maintenance steps. In doing so, document spare parts used, inserts processed, and comments on each maintenance step. The provision of work instructions and images, it is possible to ensure that maintenance is always performed in the same way by different employees.

Digital tool maintenance for complex, multi-stage tools
The tool is stored in the required level of detail for digital maintenance, including all tool components used. The master data of the tool are the basis for a complete documentation of the entire lifecycle of a tool in the digital lifecycle card. Downtimes and maintenance can be assigned in detail to the frame, modules, assemblies and inserts.
Analyze intelligently
Which mold inserts are responsible for production downtimes? Which spare part is replaced most often? How many benders are kept on hand for a production run?
Through the complete, digital recording of, for example, the inserts or spare parts, the tool construction department can access a lot of data for the optimization of the tool. This is a significant contribution to increasing productivity and effectively avoiding machine downtime due to unplanned maintenance.
Transparent reporting
The “Processed spare parts” report shows when and how often parts are repaired or replaced. Consequently, it provides an important basis for decision-making.
